Anita’s Garden

In this work, I was thinking about a garden — not a precise place, but a feeling of it. A light, slightly playful disorder, as if different flowers are growing freely, overlapping, appearing and disappearing in the same space. There is no fixed structure, more a sense of movement and natural imbalance that somehow still holds together. I worked with a palette of pale blues, dusty pinks, olive greens and warm beige tones, allowing them to shift and interact rather than define clear forms. At moments, the color combinations reminded me of pansies, though this is more of a personal association than a literal reference. For me, it’s about that subtle recognition — something familiar, but not fully named. The surface is built in layers, with areas left visible, others softened or interrupted. Some marks connect, others break apart. I was interested in keeping that balance between control and looseness — letting the painting breathe without forcing it into a fixed image. It feels like a garden that is alive in its own way — slightly chaotic, light, and open, where forms don’t settle but keep shifting. The painting is coated with a satin varnish for protection.

Northern Dawn Description In this abstract landscape I explore the quiet atmosphere of a northern dawn. The composition is built through horizontal layers that suggest a distant horizon and the slow emergence of morning light across a Nordic landscape. Soft blues, muted earth tones and warm ochre move gently across the surface, creating the feeling of early morning air and a calm, expansive terrain. Textured layers and subtle transitions of color evoke the meeting of land, sky and light, allowing the work to exist between abstract painting and atmospheric landscape. The painting reflects the serene moment when the northern horizon begins to brighten and the landscape slowly awakens. The restrained palette, textured surface and calm composition invite the viewer into a space of stillness, light and quiet movement. The painting is coated with satin varnish for protection.

Sun-Softened Memory

This work comes from a place of personal reflection. The palette — muted, sun-faded, and softly washed — carries me back to early childhood memories. There is a particular warmth in those impressions: light, air, and a landscape where color feels gently bleached by the sun. I am not painting a specific place. Instead, I follow the feeling of it — fragments, traces, something half-remembered and never fully defined. The marks remain loose and minimal, like a sketch that holds onto atmosphere rather than form. This painting is about warmth that stays within, about memory that softens over time but does not disappear. It exists somewhere between presence and fading — quiet, restrained, and deeply personal.
